A Card For You - On Your Birthday

This weekend I have coloured - I've coloured a lot!
I have got lots of My Besties digis, and practises during the weekend showed me that these images works best with markers - at least for me. So, I have "dusted off" my Pro- and FlexMarkers, and had a jolly good time :)
For this card I used papers from MajaDesign, Vintage Spring and Vintage Summer collections - I think they work well together.
I used both punches and dies and DistressInk (WalnutStain and OldPaper) on the DPs.
To decorate the card I used flowers and leaves, a feather, cheesecloth, some lace and halfpearls.
Around the image I used white- and goldcoloured embossingpowder.
-oh, and some glitter on the flowers, and liquidpearls (OpalWhite) on the "dots" on the clothes.

The inside, clean and simple, with a stamped birthdaygreeting from Staz:

I have to decorate all sides of the cards I make. It doesn't feel finished until the back is covered too - even only with a matching DP, as on this one:

I'll send the card to these challenges:
Kreative Verden - Skisse (sketch)
Joanna Sheen - Girls, girls, Girls
Passion For ProMarkers - Anything Goes
Scrappin All Over - Fargeutfordring Rosa, Grønn og hvit (colourchallenge pink, green, white)
Deep Ocean - Ribbon and/ or Lace
Through The CraftRoom Door - Anything Goes

This is how it turned out - with lots of laces, halfbeads, pearls and swirls.
The flower and the ribbon are sprayed with Glimmermist (CoffeeShop), the stringswirl and the diecut swirl are painted with GlimmerGlam (EspressoBean).
The paperedges are inked with DistressInk (WalnutStain).

The inside is decorated clean and simple, with the same papers as the outside, and a stamped greeting (Staz)

Tilda blowing hearts

Good morning everyone!
Today I have a birthdaycard with a Magnoliaimage to show you.
This time I've used Tilda blowing hearts, and again it's coloured with DistressMarkers and -reinkers.
DPs are also from Magnolia.
I used Bazzill Kraftcardstock as base for the card.
I used lots of laces, cheesecloth, ribbon (the text "Gratulerer" is norwegian for Congratulations), both flowers and butterflies (Martha Stewart punches) are glittered. Some of the butterflies are glued to the swirled strings on the flowers, to make them "fly" over the card.
I folded two ribbonpieces and attached them with brads.

Inside:
MagnoliaDP, Martha Stewart Vintage Floral PATP-set, MS Monarch Butterfly Large and Small punches.
Text is from North Star Stamps.
Edges (Outside too) are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

I'll send this birthdaycard to the following challenges:
Marvelous Magnolia #26 - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Magnolia Madness
Totally Gorjuss #183 - Bingo (Lace/ Ribbon/ Flowers)

Seeing Red at Ooh La La

Hi again.
We're Seeing Red over at Ooh La La Challenge Blog today,
and we want you to join us.
This challenge will end Sunday 26. so there's plenty of time to find your red stash :)
I have made a little "giftbagcard", with a tag/ card with a greeting stamped on inside.
The images and papers are from the Yesterdays Memories CD. You can find it in the craft shop, if you'd like your own copy of it.
I used the same image on the front of the bag and the insidecard - aren't these ladies elegant!
I tried not to "overdo" it in decorations, I felt the white, red and gold was kind of enough in itself.
Here comes many more pictures showing the bag and card from different angles. Hope you'll like it:

Now, head over to Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see the Red creations from the rest of the girls, be inspired and join the challenge!

And don't forget to join the bloghop mentioned in the stickypost on top :)

White Bookcard for Confirmation

Hi fellow crafters - I´m alive :)
Tonight I have a quite pictureheavy post, so I´ll try not to write too much.
Some time ago I was asked to make a bookcard for a girls confirmation. The picture, I guess, is from the christening, and was given me to be used on the front of the book. So I decided to pick up the colors from the clothes in the picture, mainly white, to use on the book. As you can see I let myself quite loose in laces, ribbons, pearls, charms, glitter and gems, and lots of butterflies. I had a super terrific time making this!
Inside the book I managed to sneak in a little pink - it´s for a girl! A little touch of pink is needed for a girl!
Well, enough talking - here´s the rest of the bookcard:

I´ll enter the bookcard into these challenges:
Totally Gorjuss #183 - Bingo (Lace, Ribbon, Flowers)
Kort o Mania #85 - Alt er Lov

Divas By Design - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp! - Things With Wings

Magnolia Tag

Here's another tag I've made.
Isn't this Magnoliaimage cuuute?
It's coloured with distressink. Around the image I've put on little dots made with LiquidPearls.
The "wings" on the tag are made with Martha Stewarts Floral Wine Deep Edge Punch.
I love putting on lots and lots of embellishments.
Here I've used laces, ribbons, cheesecloth, charm, flower, several die-cuts and pearlstrings.
The banner (almost hidden underneath the velvet ribbon-bow) is homemade. I also made the shakerbox with the sentiment inside.

I bought those glassbeads for naildecorating. It didn't work out as planned at all! They wouldn't stick to the nail, there were teeny-tiny, tiny glassbeads all over the place!
One of them got stuck underneath my thumbfingernail, and wouldn't get loose. After a couple of weeks the finger started turning green underneath the nail, and I realized that I couldn't get it out by myself. I had to see the doctor... He had to remove most of the nail, but couldn't find the glassbead - of course he couldn't! One alone of those pearls is invisible!
The finger is much better now, though I still don't have my left thumbfingernail. And without that nail, I try to keep the other 9 nails shorter too, so it doesn't show too much...
So - the glassbeads are now used in cardmaking, the fingernails short and without any polish - can't wait for it to grow back again, and to try out the purple powderglitter for nails :)
Well, enough about that.

I'll send this tag to these challenges:
Midweek Magnolias #59 - Lovely Lace
Kort o Mania #85 - Alt er Lov/ Anything Goes
NSHK #73 - Flagg og/eller Vimpler/ Flag or Banners
Inky Chicks #3 - Shabby Chic
Totally Gorjuss #181 - Ribbons and Pearls

Good Luck Bags

God morning. I have two little projects to show you here.
A while ago two girls started their practice in the tower where I work.
I made these little bags for their final theoretical tests - a little god-luck-bag.
Inside the bags I put some candy, then I put on two different Tildatags.
The images are coloured with distressink. Around the images I squeezed out teenytiny drops of liquidpearls.
I used different laces, ribbons and diecuts to decorate the tags. The paperedges are inked with DistressInk Walnut Stain.

The first tag is kept in most bluetones.
The sentiment on the punched out circle means Good Luck.

The second bag is more in pinktones. Good Luck on this one too.

I'll enter these challenges:
lovely hÄnglar or sweet Magnolia #168 - Anything Goes
Midweek Magnolias #59 - Lovely Lace
Stampin' for the Weekend - Die cuts and/or Punches
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Anything But Birthday
TTCRD - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesdays #118 - Anything Goes

Tesa-folding with Kenny K-image

I've had huge troubles both with the blog and the pc the last days. Posting pictures was a real pain! At last I managed through the good old internet explorer, but it took its time...
I realized I had far too few confirmationcards for girls, so now I've started on the girly cards, and this is one of them.
Not traditional girly colours, but I think it works quite well. These DPs from Papirdesign are girly enough - even in blue :)
I used the "TESA-folding" to make it, a fun and decorative foldingtechnique, I think.

The folding makes a pocket on the back of the card, perfect for a tag with a little greeting on:
I'll send the card to these challenges:
Kenny K's Krafty Krew  #141 - Tic Tac Toe (Swirls, Digi Image, Ribbon, Die Cuts/ Flowers, Lots of KLayers, Swirls, Glitter)
Totally Gorjuss #181 - Ribbons and Pearls
Simon Says Stamp! - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties - Fabulous Folds
Creative Inspirations #211 - Ribbons & Pearls
TTCRD - Anything Goes
NSHK #72 - Festlige begivenheter
Crafty Boots - Use a stamped character

April Showers or May Flowers/ Vintage at Fashionista Challenge

Hi again. I said I'd be back :)
The Fashionista Challenge is also out with a new challenge today.
Our theme is
April Showers or May Flowers/ Vintage/ Shabby
A bit of a choise for you :)
I chose the May Flower-part, in a vintage style - at least that's what I tried to make out of it...
I used papers from a paperpad that came with a magazine a long time ago. Finally I found the right card to use it on.
I coloured the Magnoliaimage with Pro- and FlexMarkers.
Paperedges are inked With DistressInk WalnutStain.
All flowers have got a touch of glitter.

The inside, made very simple. I just inked the paperedges and stamped a greeting.
I think the papers make enough decor on their own...

On the back I used one of the papers from the frontside, and made a "postcard"-decor to put on:

I hope many, many of you will join us for this challenge.
Visit Fashionista Challenge, see what the rest of the girls have made, make your card and join the challenge
See you there
:)

Vintage or Nostalgic at Ooh La La

Good morning fellow crafters.
This Monday we have a new challenge for you over at Ooh La La Challenge Blog.
The theme for the next fortnight is Vintage/ Nostalgic.
How fun is that!
I must admit I had a bit of a block making my DT-sample for this challenge.
Or maybe it's wrong to call it a block, it was more like "I don't know what to make or what to use" - there are for sure a lot to choose between on my OLL-CDs...
Then a friend came and wanted me to make a bookcard for a wedding she was invited to, and everything fell in place. I knew exactly how to make it; what image and wich papers to use. Even what to use for decorating it!
An here it is!
Here comes a few pictures showing the inside, the inlaycard and the back of the book:

I hope you've found a little inspiration here for your vintage/ nostalgic-project. For more inspiration, hop over to the Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see what lovely creations the rest of the DT have made.

I'll enter my weddingbookcard into
NSHK's challenge #72 - Festlige Begivenheter

Have a wonderful day, everyone.
I'll be back in a little while :)

Magic Card for Confirmation

I have made a confirmationcard again.
For this card I used DPs  from Papirdesign and stamps from Kort&Godt.
I didn't have any MC-charms to match the paper, so I had to use a little scooter. I coloured it black with AlcoholInk - I think that black matched better than silver...
Inside I used Spellbinders-dies, both for the greetingpanel and for the little pocket.
The punched borders are made with the borderpunch from Martha Stewarts Cherish PATP-set
All edges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

The back is easy decorated with DPs:
I'll join these challenges with my confirmationcard:
Scrap'a'Long #26 - Konfirmasjon
Cards For Men #8 - Anything Goes
Corrosive Challenges #172 - Life's Special Occasions
NSHK #72 - Festlige Begivenheter
Everybody Art #233 - Zweifarbig
Speedy Fox & Friends #156 - Punched Borders
TTCRD - Anything Goes

Easelcards at OLLCB

Monday morning and a new challenge at Ooh La La Challenge Blog.
Today we give you the theme "Easel Cards" - is that easy, or what?
I have made a christmascard for this challenge, but you can make just the card you want to, as long as it's an easelcard. You can use which papers and stamps you like too!
I've used OLL-papers, from the Yuletide Wishes CD.
The pyramid decoupage toppers are so fun to make, and give a really cute effect.
I put on a little glitter to the star, tied a ribbon on to it and fastened a heartshaped brad to the corner where the ribbon hide the heart on the frame.

I decorated all insidefolds (the backside too, actually), with the same papers as on the outside.
The stamped greetings are from Kort&Godt. One of the panels are left blank, for personal greetings.
I used 3D-foamtape underneath the biggest greetingpanel, and put on some goldcoloured halfbeads to make the card stand up when opened.
I hope many, many of you will join us for this challenge.
Visit Ooh La La Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT-girls have made, and see how to join in :)
